Since my parents gave me my first harp at age eight, I have been playing and performing–and collecting more harps! Each of my SIX different sized harps reaches a different audience.
I name all my harps. They are my musical companions with their own voices. And it’s a lot easier to say, “I’m loading Sigi in the car” than say, “I need to grab the harp. No, the other harp. No, the other, other harp…” So let me introduce you to:
Jocelyn
- Lyon and Healy Style 85 Petite Pedal Harp
- 42 Strings
- 64 lbs
- Electric pick up
For most events, I bring Jocelyn, my traveling pedal harp. Her pedals allow me to play a full repertoire from classic to contemporary music. Her comparatively small size lets me play that music anywhere!
She’s also equipped with an electronic pick up which allows me to plug directly into my own amplifier or any venue’s sound system. Elegant for weddings and perfect for programs, Jocelyn is my go-to girl!
Eliana
- Lyon and Healy Style 85 Semi Grand Pedal Harp in Birdseye Maple
- 47 Strings
- 85 lbs
My largested harp I named Eliana. She is a full-sized Lyon and Healy Concert Style 85 with a clean, baroque sound and a ravishing birdseye maple finish.
Eliana’s impressive stature and fuller soundboard make her the perfect harp to play with the symphony and recordings.
Eliana means, “The Lord fulfills His promises.” I was thrilled to record my third CD, Hymns and Variations with her clear sound.
Tessa
- Dusty Strings Lever Harp
- 36 Strings
- 34 lbs
- Electric pick up
My newest harp—I unexpectedly stopped in a local guitar store and found this beautiful harp sitting between an amplifier and a second hand accordion! Her light proportions and sturdy frame enables me to easily travel to celtic jam sessions or senior communities while her electric pick up makes her loud enough for senior citizens to hear!
After a decade and a half playing both Lever and Pedal harp, I enjoy arranging sheet music that fulfills the potential of both instruments! Shop Anna’s arrangements now!
Sigi
- Triplett Signature Model Lever Harp
- 36 Strings
- 26 lbs
My very first harp, Sigi is the foundation for my love of harp music and performing! I began playing on this 36 string Triplet Signature lever harp, a mid-size harp with a beautiful shape and sound. I shorted her model into her nickname Sigi. Since her Irish shape is so distinct, you’ll find me playing Sigi near St. Patrick’s day.
Claire
- Fullsicle by Harpsicles TM
- 26 strings
- 7 lbs
- Electric Pick Up
I also play and “walk about” with Claire, my Harpsicle TM. When strapped across my shoulder, I can play Claire while walking or even waltzing, wandering minstrel fashion. This harp is also equipped with a piezo pick up and can plug into an existing sound system. I use these portable harps in hospitals, care facilities, receptions and dinner parties, or busking outdoors!
Rinna
- Triplett Christina Model Lever Harp
- 25 Strings
- 7 lbs
- Electric Pick Up
New to the family! With a rich sound in her small size and elegant silhouette, Rinna is my portable performance harp, perfect for rock concerts or Renaissance Faires! She also has a pickup and can rock out when we add some amplification! The name Rinna comes from the Hebrew word for songs of joyful praise!
Harp-e
- Harp-E Electric Lever Harp
- 24 Strings
- 7 lbs
- Fully Electric!
My first electric instrument! A completely new take on the harp, this design revamps a lot of ideas on harp from the levers to the sound and lets me play modern music or experiment with new takes on old and travel to new places! Book a fully electric harp performance today!
